Uploading data
When uploading data into SwimDesk schools an excel template is provided. This template ensures the data is entered correctly. The data must have the correct headers and format when uploaded (hence why we recommend you always use the template file provided)
How do parents receive the level allocation questionnaire?
When you upload data via the template, if you chose option 2 (upload and send to parents) this will automatically send parents a personalised level allocation questionnaire link. NOTE: You or the school must upload the parent's email addresses for the email to be sent.
How do I change students from one class to another?
Once students have been added to a class, go to the class view. In the class view, select a student by checking the box next to their name. Then click the transfer button to chose another class to transfer them into.
How do I change teachers for the class?
When creating a class you can choose a teacher or you can choose to assign a nonteacher eg. "no teacher assigned". There may be instances where you wish to change the teacher for a class. To change a teacher in the class view, click on all the students in the class, then choose the +class option. Within the drop down you can choose to change the teachers from the available teachers.
How do I change the level of an entire class?
There may be cases where you have a class that after the first lesson you would like to change the entire class to a higher or lower level. To do this, select all students in the class from the class list. Then click on +class in the transfer section and choose the different level from the drop-down menu.
