What does FitDesk do?


FitDesk helps health club minimise paper use and improve key process around member onboarding, support and retention.


FitDesk has four core functionalities...


1. Health club booking

2. Electronic fitness consultation, PARQ and testing

3. Workout program management and delivery

4. Onboarding, retention and automation


How do you log in?


You will be provided with a personal username and password and can log in via www.mygreenedesk.com


Is the system compatible with all web browsers?


We recommend using Google Chrome or Safari when using GreeneDesk. Some older browsers such as Internet Explorer are no longer supported fully and can create compatibility issues.

Can members access their program on their phone?


Yes, the member portal is 100% mobile compatible. Members can log in via the browser and the screen will adapt to present the portal nicely on the phone screen. You may wish to encourage members to save the login URL to their phone home screen for ease of access.


Can we print programs for members who may be less comfortable with technology?


Yes, there is a print option within the member portal in the workout screen. You can also print a workout via the workout creator screen.


How do we send SMS through the system?


To send SMS through the system you need an SMS account. We have some preferred suppliers that are around 8c per SMS.


Once your account is set up we connect your SMS to your system and you can start sending bulk and automated SMS as per of your customer touch points. 


How do I add exercises not currently in the database?


The admin level login has an option to add or enable exercises for trainers to use. There is also an option for trainers to have access to the "add exercise" feature. 


How do you superset exercises?


To superset exercises, we recommend using the notes block feature (+note). This can be used a write a text snipped which can explain to group the subsequent exercises into a superset.


Can you build templated programs?


Yes, you can build your own library of templates. In the main menu go to create a workout. You can then name and create as many templates as you wish. Templates can then be assigned to members and even edited to create a custom workout for each member.


What if a member forgets their password?


There is a password reset option on the login screen. They can use this to re-send a temporary password to their assigned email account. 


Will members receive an SMS reminder for their appointment?


Yes, if your club has the SMS service enabled. 


How do I reschedule an existing appointment?


Click on the appointment and options to re-schedule and cancel will appear as long as the time of the appointment has not been reached.


How can I review a members appointment history


There is a summary of historical appointments and outcomes on each members profile. To get to a members profile, you can search via the search feature or click on the member's name from any of the other screens.


How do I review a member's previous injuries and medical information?


This can be viewed in the members profile under the evaluation details section.


How can we see a member's training history?


This can be viewed on the member's profile by scrolling down to the exercise history section.


How do you record the outcome of an appointment?


Can members book appointments themselves?


Not currently! This feature is expected to be released soon!


Will the system flag if the member has a medical condition that requires clearance? 


Yes, the medical clearance feature means that any member with a medical condition that requires medical clearance is flagged. The medical clearance feature can be seen on each members profile.


Can you change the user type for a user rather than setting up a new account?


There is no way to edit a user type of an existing user. For example, you cannot change someone with personal trainer user permissions to a fitness director. To do this you will need to set up a new account with Fitness director access for that user.
